Program Terms & Content Guidelines

These CandyJar Creators Program Terms & Content Guidelines (the “Program Terms”) govern participation in the CandyJar Creators program (the “Program”), operated by Inkitt GmbH (“CandyJar,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By registering, submitting a post, or otherwise participating in the Program, you agree to these Program Terms and the existing CandyJar Terms of Use. If these Program Terms conflict with the CandyJar Terms of Use on a Program-specific issue, these Program Terms control.

1. Eligibility and registration

You may participate only if you:

• are at least 18 years old;
• have a valid CandyJar account and allow us to connect the CandyJar userID shown in the app;
• provide accurate registration and contact information;
• publish eligible content on a supported public social platform; and
• live in a country where CandyJar chooses to offer the Program and where participation is permitted by law.

There is no separate application or acceptance process. You may complete a short creator signup before your first post is ready. When you enter through the Rewards tab in the CandyJar app, CandyJar may securely pass your userID to the Program site so rewards can be connected to the correct account. If a userID is not available, we may ask you to provide it after a post submission. CandyJar may determine that a creator or post is ineligible based on authenticity, brand fit, legal or platform requirements, Program capacity, or other reasonable Program considerations.

2. Coin rewards and weekly review

You may submit your first post before it reaches any view threshold. Submission does not guarantee a reward. Your first eligible post earns a one-time 100-coin starter bonus after CandyJar verifies at least 100 organic views. Each participant may earn only one starter bonus, regardless of the number of CandyJar accounts, social accounts, or posts used.

The starter bonus is in addition to the standard reward: every eligible post, including your first, earns 50 CandyJar coins for each complete 1,000 verified organic views measured by CandyJar. Partial 1,000-view increments are rounded down.

CandyJar reviews submitted posts weekly. Submit by Wednesday at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time for Thursday review. Submissions received later roll into the following week's review. Qualifying coins are expected to be added to the CandyJar account associated with the submitted userID on Friday. Operational delays may occur.

If a first post has fewer than 100 verified organic views at one review, it may qualify for the starter bonus at a later review while it remains eligible and public. CandyJar may also measure a qualifying post again and reward only new complete 1,000-view milestones that were not previously rewarded. CandyJar determines the view count, participant identity, eligibility period, supported platforms, and whether a starter bonus or views were previously rewarded. We may publish prospective campaign or creator reward limits on the Program site.

Each qualifying post must tag the official CandyJar account and remain public for at least 30 days. CandyJar determines eligibility using public information and may request platform analytics when necessary.

Coins are promotional in-app currency. They have no cash value, are not transferable, and cannot be redeemed for cash, refunds, or other compensation. Their use is subject to the CandyJar Terms of Use and applicable in-app rules. Additional opportunities, including paid partnerships or post promotion, are discretionary and require separate terms.

3. Organic views and prohibited activity

Organic views are genuine views generated without payment or artificial coordination. Views generated through paid promotion, purchased engagement, engagement exchanges or pods, bots, creator-funded boosting, CandyJar-funded boosting, or other manipulation do not count.

You may not provide false information, impersonate another person, submit content you did not create or control, submit the same post under multiple identities, or interfere with Program review. CandyJar may disregard suspicious activity, request supporting information, withhold or reverse coins, remove a creator from the Program, or require corrective action.

4. Content standards

Your posts must reflect your honest opinions and actual experience. They must comply with applicable law and each platform's rules and must not contain false or misleading claims, unlawful material, hate or harassment, unauthorized personal information, infringing content, or material that could reasonably harm CandyJar, its cast, partners, or community.

You are responsible for obtaining all rights and permissions needed for material you add, including music, footage, artwork, and the name, image, voice, or performance of any other person. Do not include minors or other identifiable people unless you have legally sufficient permission.

5. CandyJar Creator Media Library

CandyJar grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, edit, and publish approved clips, logos, artwork, and other assets from the CandyJar Creator Media Library (“CandyJar Materials”) solely to create eligible Program content. You may grant a social platform only the limited sublicense technically necessary to publish that content on a supported platform.

You must follow any asset-specific platform, territory, music, spoiler, credit, expiration, and editing instructions. You may not sell CandyJar Materials, redistribute raw files, make them available as a separate library, use them to reconstruct a film or episode, remove required notices, imply an unauthorized endorsement, or use them unlawfully or misleadingly. CandyJar retains all ownership of CandyJar Materials and trademarks. Upon request, you must stop using or remove specified CandyJar Materials.

6. Rights in creator posts

You retain ownership of original material you create, subject to CandyJar's ownership of CandyJar Materials.

For every post you submit, you grant CandyJar the limited right to access, review, verify, store a record of, and link to the post for Program administration, compliance, and measurement.

If a submitted post contains video or audiovisual footage from a CandyJar film or footage supplied by CandyJar (“CandyJar Footage Content”), you grant CandyJar and its affiliates a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable to the extent permitted by law, royalty-free, fully paid-up, transferable, and sublicensable license to use the complete post and all content embodied in it. This license includes the right to host, store, reproduce, distribute, publicly display and perform, repost, publish, translate, caption, crop, edit, adapt, combine with other material, create derivative works from, advertise, promote, and monetize the post in any media or channel, including paid advertising, without further approval or compensation. The license survives removal of the post and the end of your participation in the Program.

That license also covers your social handle and any name, image, likeness, voice, and performance embodied in the CandyJar Footage Content. To the extent permitted by law, you waive or agree not to assert moral rights in connection with CandyJar's authorized uses. CandyJar will not edit a post to materially misrepresent your opinion. CandyJar is not required to use any submitted post or provide attribution.

The broad license above does not apply merely because a post mentions CandyJar or displays only a CandyJar name or logo without CandyJar video or audiovisual footage. CandyJar must obtain separate permission before using that kind of post outside the limited Program-administration rights described above.

You represent that you have authority to grant these rights. If you add music or other third-party material, the license above covers that material only to the extent you have the right to authorize CandyJar's intended use. CandyJar may remove, stop using, or request changes to content if a rights or compliance concern arises. Nothing in these Program Terms waives any remuneration, moral right, or other right that applicable law does not allow you to waive.

7. Review, suspension, and changes

CandyJar may monitor submitted public posts for Program compliance. CandyJar may reject a post, withhold or reverse coins, suspend a creator, or end participation for failure to meet these Program Terms. CandyJar's Program decisions are final to the extent permitted by law.

The Program is a limited test. CandyJar may modify, pause, or end it, change requirements or rewards, restrict eligible countries or platforms, or stop accepting submissions. We will post material changes with an updated effective date and, when practical, communicate changes to active creators. Changes apply prospectively unless immediate action is reasonably necessary for legal, safety, fraud, rights, or platform-policy reasons.

8. Independent participation and general terms

Participation does not make you an employee, agent, partner, or representative of CandyJar, and you may not make commitments on CandyJar's behalf. You are responsible for taxes or reporting obligations associated with rewards you receive.

The Program is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with TikTok, Meta, YouTube, X, Apple, Google, or any other social or distribution platform. The warranty, liability, dispute-resolution, governing-law, and other general provisions of the CandyJar Terms of Use apply to the Program, except that nothing in these Program Terms limits rights or remedies that cannot be limited under the mandatory law of your country of residence.
